I am excited to be participating in Plant Your Way to Israel, raising funds to support Jewish National Fund’s critical forestry efforts while at the same time raising funds for my own visit to Israel! I have always wanted to visit Israel and the opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for such a great cause at the same time is such a privilege.
The program is simple: Half of all the funds I raise will be put in a special account for my trip, and the other half will go towards JNF’s green initiatives in Israel. I’m raising funds to specifically support JNF’s ecosystem restoration work – this work builds on what the JNF has done before and will help Israel enter the 22nd century. This work will take time and money. I hope I can count on your support.
This year in January, I am going to the Heller High Program in Israel where I will spend a semester learning Hebrew and Israeli culture. Also, in this program, I have the opportunity to go to Poland where I will learn more about the Holocaust. Last year, I went to URJ Sci-Tech, which is a Jewish camp that incorporates science and technology with Judaism and its values. There, I learned how Judaism can strengthen me to be an advocate to reduce Climate Change and Global Warming and how Judaism and its ideals could aid in innovations that could shape our society.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal for my Plant Your Way to Israel experience – make your tax-deductible donation today!
People have requested how to donate directly to me, I have set up an account to do that.
