My name is Mia Goldman and this coming September I will be going on a gap year to Israel. This program is by Young Judaea. For four months I will be studying in Jerusalem diffenent subjects and for four months I will be voluntering in Bat Yam. In addition I will be doing a specific business track, learning loads about businesses, meeting with CEO's of companies like Soda Stream, Google and others. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity and it will be coming very handy because when I return to the States I am planning to study business.
This gap year is very expensive and I want to take some of the financial burden off my parents back. They - Sandra and Yaron Goldman - have done already so much for me and I thought by participating in plant your way to Israel I can help pay for my trip. I like this program because I am helping to build up the forests in Israel. My parents allowed me to use their email address book under the condition that I do all this by myself. I hope you are ok with that.
I am excited to be participating in Plant Your Way to Israel, raising funds to support Jewish National Fund’s critical forestry efforts while at the same time raising funds for my own visit to Israel! I have always wanted to visit Israel and the opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for such a great cause at the same time is such a privilege.
The program is simple: Half of all the funds I raise will be put in a special account for my trip, and the other half will go towards JNF’s green initiatives in Israel. I’m raising funds to specifically support JNF’s forestry work – work that has helped Israel enter the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees. But their work is not done and I hope I can count on your support.
Jewish National Fund began as a dream in 1901 to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. In the years since, JNF has made the dream a reality by greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal for my Plant Your Way to Israel experience – make your tax-deductible donation today! If you love the program but rather just support me on my trip; let me know and I will tell you what you can do. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you very much!
