Dear Family and Friends,
As most of you know, I will be attending a gap year in Israel next year prior to beginning college at Wash U. As part of my experience, I will be working in a developing community teaching English and working with the Magen David Adom ambulance, Israel's Red Cross.
I am excited to be raising funds to support the Jewish National Fund’s critical forestry efforts, which has helped Israel enter the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees. But their work is not done and I hope I can count on your support.
In 1901, the JNF had a dream to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. In the years since, JNF has made the dream a reality by greening the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, and helping develop innovative arid-agriculture techniques.
