Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you know, I have spent the past seven summers in Conover, Wisconsin at Camp Ramah. My experiences at Ramah have been amazing and more importantly they have had tremendous impact on my life. Although I will not be in Conover this summer, I will be with friends from my aidah (age group) as well as kids from the 7 other Ramah camps across the U.S. and Canada, as a participant on Ramah Israel/Poland Seminar.
Ramah Seminar is a unique experience that combines study and travel throughout Israel. Prior to arriving in Israel, I will be spending one week in Poland visiting concentration camps and Jewish communities.
I am participating in Plant Your Way to Israel: a dual program to raise funds to support Jewish National Fund’s critical forestry efforts as well as raise funds for my trip to Israel this summer on Seminar.
Plant Your Way to Israel is simple: Half of all the funds I raise will be put in a special account for my trip, and the other half will go towards JNF’s green initiatives in Israel. I’m raising funds to specifically support JNF’s forestry projects.
Since 1901 JNF has greened the desert, built roads and parks, created new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstered Israel's water supply and educated both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism. Their work is not done.
I felt it would be meaningful to launch my campaign on Tu B’shvat, the day that marks the beginning of a “new year” for trees.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal for my JNF Plant Your Way to Israel experience (Your entire donation is tax-deductible.)
Thank you for your support.
