Dear Friends and Family,
For the past six summers, I have had the privilege to attend Habonim Dror Camp Tavor in Three Rivers, Michigan. Not only have my summers at Camp Tavor strengthened my connection to Judaism and to Israel, but they have also allowed me to establish life-long friendships with members of my kvutza (age group).
This summer, I have the opportunity to travel to Israel with Habonim Dror North America on Macheneh Bonim B'Israel (MBI) with my kvutza members from across North America. In addition to visiting key sites across Israel and learning about key issues facing Israeli society, I will be building leadership skills to apply to my home and camp communities.
In anticipation for my trip to Israel, I am excited to be participating in Plant Your Way to Israel, raising funds to support Jewish National Fund’s critical forestry efforts while at the same time raising funds to attend a program in Israel this summer.
For each tax deductible donation of $36 or more, half will go directly to JNF's green initiatives in Israel and half will be put in a special account for my trip to Israel. I'm raising funds to specifically support JNF's forestry work- work that has helped Israel enter the 21st century with a net gain in its number of trees. Their work is not done, and your support would make a difference!
I greatly appreciate your support of my journey and of JNF’s efforts to maintain Israel’s green spaces through their forestry efforts. Thanks in advance for your generosity!
