Welcome to Daniel's Page

My name is Daniel Ferziger. I am 13 and a student at the Yeshiva High School- Ahavat Yisrael in Bet Shemesh. I decided to run in the Jerusalem 10K in support of LOTEM- Making Nature Accessible (a KKL-JNF partner organization). I love the outdoors, where I enjoy running, biking and hiking – and I understand why everyone would enjoy the freedom and beauty of the outdoors. When I learned about LOTEM, I understood that this was something to which I could contribute, and help provide the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors to those with disabilities.

Today, LOTEM is the leading organization in Israel offering outings, nature clubs and creative workshops in nature to people with special needs. With centers in Jerusalem and the north of Israel, LOTEM serves more than 30,000 participants every year. LOTEM's target population includes children and adults who are blind and visually impaired, deaf and hearing impaired, physically and intellectually challenged, emotionally disturbed, and at risk of physical and emotional abuse.

I invite you to join me and help JNF and LOTEM bring more children with special needs closer to nature by making a donation.
