The artwork for the Rejoice Certificate was donated to JNF by acclaimed artist Burton Morris, a recipient of the Tree of Life™ Award in 2015. Building on the legacy of Pop Art masters of the 1960s-70s, Morris' post-Pop style boldly projects an enticing mood of happiness, high energy, and celebration.
Selected as the poster artist for the 76th Annual Academy Awards®, Morris has also created distinctive works for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, the 2004 Montreux Jazz Festival, the 2016 U.S. Open Golf Tournament, and the hit NBC television show 'Friends'. In addition, his work has raised thousands of dollars for various charities worldwide.
Burton Morris' art is featured in the collections of the International Olympic Museum, The Jimmy Carter Center, Ella Sharp Museum, H.J. Heinz Corporation, Warner Bros. Studios, Gallo Winery, and Microsoft Corporation. His website is burtonmorris.com.
